Randomness Rules  So, yesterday I told Colby (my old roommate who had been dating Megan for the past 4 years) that I spent a weekend with Megan. She came up here beginning of December or so. Dinner, movie, etc. She had told me they broke up a few months ago. Now, I'm talking to Colby and he's telling me that they've been dating for 4 years and are ready to get engaged..... So I had to break the news. It sucked, hardcore. On top of that, with all the family issues going around, and going out to my father's house to help him with some things he needs help with, I'm not getting much sleep. It's 8PM on a Wednesday, and I'm about to go to sleep. How pathetic is that? I'm tired of writing. I'll update sometime soon. Maybe. Squirt has arrived. He's so freakin cool.  Seriously, that duck is a sailor. How awesome is that? And he spits water and has a novel written on his underside! All thanks to my girl.. all sparked by an away message: "I've gone to take my shower, will you be my rubber ducky?" Who knew it'd work so well? Current mood: cheerful. Welcome, one and all. blah blah blah. No introductions, cuttin straight to the chase. Today had the potential to SUCK. At work, everything went wrong. SO much stuff broke, and I was the only one at the location so it was my job to fix it all. I took an early lunch, called my best friend and my (dare I say it? I DARE!) GIRLFRIEND *gasp, dramatic silence*, and suddenly I felt better. The rest of the day seemed to fly by, and went pretty well. I even got off work a half-hour early for doing such a good job. So now, I'm home, needing to go to Best Buy, but not wanting to leave talking to "her". :) I'm sure I'll come up with more to post later, but isn't that the point of LJ? To post every-other day with random thoughts you have?  (p.s. my posts are always gonna be spammed with HTML-laden pictures and such. get used to it. ;-) ) Current mood: giddy. |
